Biography

I am currently pursuing my Masters in Architecture at the London School of Architecture. Alongside my studies, I am undertaking a practice placement at Jestico and Whiles. I was born in Indonesia and raised in the UK. I then went on to complete my secondary education and Bachelor's degree in Costa Rica (United World College), the USA (Middlebury College) and France (ASA).

My topic for my Fellowship – intergenerational living – grew from my international upbringing and studies in architecture. I hope to travel to Germany, Sweden and Japan to investigate intergenerational housing schemes and their role in tackling social isolation. I aim to learn about the architectural elements that enable these intergenerational schemes to be successful in fostering social cohesion throughout countries with ageing populations.

Although I have not yet begun my travels, I have started to develop relationships with architecture practices in London who have an interest in projects on intergenerational living. In learning from each other, I hope to promote this type of living as one that enables us to tackle our societal issues, improve wellbeing and live in a sustainable manner.
