Biography
I am an emeritus professor (MBE, FRSE, FACM) with research interests in human computer interaction, technology to support older people and people with disabilities, and the use of forum theatre in requirements gathering and awareness raising.
My Fellowship was investigating augmentative and alternative communication for non-speaking people, which was one of my research interests. It formed a turning point in and a launch pad for my research as I met most of the major figures in this emerging field in the USA.
