Biography

I am an arts and cultural professional currently leading and managing an arts and dementia programme at the Museum of London and the Family and Communities programme at the British Library.

For my Fellowship I travelled to Brazil and Europe to research community engagement through the arts. I am passionate about using the arts to transform lives and strive to make the world a better place. My Fellowship inspired me to use the arts to engage the most marginalised and bring communities together. It inspired me to give voice to the silenced and tackle inequality. I am particularly interested in using arts and heritage to engage communities, old and young, to privilege the voices of under-represented groups such as those with a disability or those living with dementia, and promote wellbeing. I am also passionate about how specifically outdoor arts can unite communities.
