Biography
I am a policy lead in the Department of Health and Social Care. With a background in health psychology, I have always been fascinated by behaviour change and how to influence individuals to make healthier choices. My academic and professional experience has deepened my interest in how evidence and behavioural insight can shape effective policy.
Healthcare faces many complex challenges, from ageing populations to widening health inequalities. For young people, a growing concern is the significant rise in vaping and use of nicotine products. My Fellowship allows me to explore in a personal capacity how Nordic countries have responded to youth health challenges - including vaping - and what the UK can draw from their approaches.
This Fellowship is undertaken in a personal capacity. All views expressed are my own and do not represent my employer.
