Biography
I am the Co-CEO of the Fair Education Alliance (FEA), a coalition of over 230 member organisations from business, education, the third sector and young people that are working together to end educational inequality. Prior to joining the FEA, I led the Teach First Innovation Unit to nurture social entrepreneurs to tackle educational inequality through training, funding and mentoring.
I started my career by founding Fundacion VASE, a NGO in Ecuador dedicated to volunteer exchanges and youth leadership development. After five years as CEO, I handed over leadership to pursue my Masters in Development Management at the London School of Economics. Prior to joining Teach First, I supported individuals to start and scale their social ventures at UnLtd. I am a Governor of Clapham Manor Primary School, Chair of the OVO Energy Foundation and a member of the Ashoka Venture Board.
My Fellowship will explore how different models of collective action can rebuild the English education system so that all young people, regardless of their background, benefit from high-quality education that develops the whole child.
