Biography

I am a textile artist, photographer and Founder of the Peaks & Plains Fibreshed. My Fellowship will explore small-scale fibre production in rural communities, focusing on wool and linen.

I intend to use my Fellowship to research successful operations in the USA and the methods used there. My experience of working within the textile industry and living in rural communities has shown a need for farmers in particular to be able to diversify into new areas such as fibre production.

I hope to provide a template for farmers looking to branch out, alongside the support they need to access the textile industry.
