Biography

My journey with Parent Network Scotland (PNS) began in 1994, where I was introduced to the programme while working as a community development worker in Glasgow. As a fully trained facilitator and trainer at PNS I know the importance of family life and I am a firm believer in building strong positive relationships, building confidence and skills for parents no matter what the circumstances are.

My background is in community development and I have lived and worked in Glasgow, the north of England and London. I am experienced in facilitation, coaching and training skills to help build positive relationships with parents, community and funders. I am also a finalist in the Causeway Awards for Innovative Business Leader.

My passion is reaching for out to as many families as possible and helping them to build powerful, positive relationships with their children and the community around them. A firm believer in supporting others to reach their potential, I helped PNS develop a programme to support this belief. Parents are our greatest assets when it comes to changing the lives of their children – don't underestimate the influence they have or their drive to do so.
