Biography

I am the Co-founder and Managing Director of ClearView Research, which is an insight and engagement agency.

I was awarded a Fellowship in 2016. My Fellowship was focused on gaining more of an understanding of youth political engagement and effective ways in which we can engage young people in politics and social action. As part of my Fellowship, I travelled to the United States for four weeks and spent time in Washington DC, Chicago, and New York. I met with various campaign groups, activists, academics and experts working in my field of interest. I also secured a meeting at the White House with a senior official and was given a tour. I also travelled to Hong Kong for two weeks as part of my Fellowship. I had the pleasure of being invited by Professor Chan (one of the co-founders of the Umbrella Movement) to be a guest speaker at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

I produced a Fellow's Report sharing best practice with others in the democratic engagement space and I was able to share my findings with policymakers, community leaders and politicians who were interested in how we can increase democratic participation in the UK.
