Biography
I am Communications and Media Manager at the MCS Foundation, where I promote renewable energy and home retrofit solutions across the UK. My Fellowship focuses on improving how we communicate the benefits of heat pumps, especially the comfort and lifestyle advantages for homeowners. The aim is to help accelerate adoption of low-carbon heating by making it more relatable and appealing.
I bring over 30 years' experience in environmental communications, journalism, and community engagement, alongside my role as a councillor in Norwich, where I am a leader in local government. I'm motivated by both professional experience and personal insight, as a heat pump owner who has opened my home to others. I hope to help reshape public understanding, build trust, and support more households to make the switch to cleaner heating.
