Biography
I have spent almost two decades working in housing, regeneration and property across local government. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about creating better homes and stronger communities, particularly for people facing housing insecurity.
My Fellowship focuses on social housing delivery. I will visit Hong Kong, Australia, Japan and China to learn how different countries deliver high-quality housing at scale through innovative approaches to governance, financing, construction and public sector leadership. I am motivated by the growing housing crisis and the increasing reliance on temporary accommodation, which places significant pressure on families, communities and public services. Through my professional experience and work with housing and regeneration programmes, I have seen the challenges of delivering the homes that people need.
I hope to identify practical lessons that can help improve housing delivery. I aim to share my findings with local authorities, housing providers and policymakers, helping to increase housing supply, improve delivery models and support better outcomes.
