Biography
I am a Founding Director of The Remakery in Brixton, a community space dedicated to promoting circular economy principles, zero waste and climate-resilient design. My work focuses on connecting ecology, materials and inclusive placemaking to tackle urban challenges. My Fellowship explores the potential of 'craft corridors' - green urban routes that enhance biodiversity, improve public wellbeing and support local creative economies through heritage crafts and regenerative design.
As part of my Fellowship, I will examine how international models of circular and nature-positive urban planning - particularly in Japan, Singapore, and Europe - can inform UK strategies. The aim is to show how integrating craft, community and green infrastructure can deliver environmental and social value, contributing to fairer, healthier cities.
