Biography
In 1995 I was awarded a Churchill Fellowship, which took me to Vancouver, Toronto and Calgary in Canada, and California and Chicago in the United States. I explored Care in the Community, especially looking at neurological conditions and strokes in particular.
I returned to London after three months and started work on writing my report, to feed back to the Director-General.
I was further selected by The Prince's Trust and was invited to Chicago to visit The Rehabilitation Institute Of Chicago, ranked the number-one institute in the world for the seventh time in a row.
I am now working for the NHS in the capacity of clinical support practitioner and am a specialist nurse in Rehab in the Community.
