Biography

I am an accessibility and inclusion consultant focusing on the disabled and neurodiverse employee workplace experience. My Fellowship addresses the disability employment gap and how inaccessible the workplace is for disabled people in the UK.

I look forward to studying how countries that also adopt the social model of disability are equipping government and businesses to support disabled employees and what influence different policies have had, as well as their effectiveness and reception by the disabled community. This is a topic I am passionate about. I have been disabled since the age of 12 and throughout my life I have faced barriers to accessing education and the workplace.

I hope to bring back actionable ideas and tested strategies that the UK Government and businesses operating in the UK can implement. I also hope to move the conversation about disability employment into one that doesn't blame the disabled person for a perceived inability, ultimately supporting more disabled and neurodiverse people into the workplace.
