Biography
I am a youth service manager for the NHS.
My Fellowship was for researching diversity, inclusivity and empowerment for people with a facial difference. Having grown up with a facial difference and feeling like the only person who looked significantly different to others, I was interested in learning about examples of positive psychosocial support for people with a facial difference.
The Churchill Fellowship has offered me both personal and professional growth. The examples of good practice I discovered helped me develop wellbeing groups for young disabled people in my work setting. I also disseminated my learning with key organisations to help inform their practice.
