Biography
I'm a social entrepreneur and founder dedicated to purpose-driven initiatives. My Fellowship explores employment and social mobility, examining how other countries create career pathways for individuals held back by circumstance. This project stems from my personal experience. Growing up in a low-income area, crime was common and opportunities were scarce. Facing early life challenges, I found clarity through philosophy, which gave me space to reflect and reimagine what was possible.
Since then, I've held leadership roles across the private, charitable and public sectors - including as Strategic Youth Advisory Board Lead at the Ministry of Justice, advising senior leaders on youth justice. Through the Fellowship, I aim to learn how other countries create fair and inclusive job opportunities - demonstrating that change is possible and that your past does not have to define your future. As part of this, I plan to develop an internship programme within my company that offers mentoring, skill-building and real-world work experience to individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds. My goal is to make this model replicable across other organisations and sectors.
