I am Deputy Head of Profession at the Planning and Development for Defence Infrastructure Organisation, and a Fellow of the Royal Town Planning Institute. I direct the development of major new developments across the UK and overseas, and am currently working on delivering some of the UK's largest Garden Villages which, when completed, will include a sustainable mix of several thousand houses with employment. The other side of my work is to consolidate operational sites and plan sustainable developments.

Learning from how other countries handle such challenges was the focus of my Fellowship, visiting the USA, Australia and New Zealand. My Fellowship research was welcomed by the UK Prime Minister and the estate planning principles I developed have since been used to help direct planning across many sites.
