January 2023 Fellow's update: Sai Pathmanathan

Science educator Sai Pathmanathan (CF 2016) has written a new book, Chews Your Own Tasty Adventure, which will be published in July. The book brings together experimental vegetarian recipes from around the world and aims to help children develop an interest in food and where comes from. Sai's Fellowship explored ways to make science learning more accessible for children through storytelling.

March 2023 Fellow's update: Andrew Rowland

Honorary Professor at Salford University Andrew Rowland (CF 2014), has been appointed as the next Officer for Child Protection at the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) for an initial three year term of office. The RCPCH works to improve the health and wellbeing of children and young people internationally, by supporting paediatricians, shaping policy, and improving practice. The Officer for Child Protection is responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction in all aspects of child protection, safeguarding children, and Looked After Children (LAC) across all four nations of the UK.
