Dennis Gray’s (CF 1968) article “A Hitchhiker’s Guide to Yosemite” has been featured in Summit magazine (USA) as part of a new piece exploring the history of British climbing in Yosemite.
The article revisits his journey to Yosemite in the 1960s and his experiences within the early international climbing community, highlighting his place in the wider story of British influence on American climbing culture.

Arlene Holmes-Henderson (CF 2013) has joined a government project exploring the key factors that influence and shape the future of childhood in the UK. The Future of Childhood and Adolescence project will examine the societal, environmental and technological shifts that impact children and teenagers. Arlene is the first Humanities Scholar Humanities scholar to be seconded into UK Government as an Expert Fellow.
