Sarah Yardley (CF 2024) has released a series of creative outputs building on her Churchill Fellowship and wider Rewilding Healthcare work.
Together, the projects explore how the concept of "rewilding healthcare" can help cultivate more relational approaches to care for people living with serious illness.
New resources include Shipping Forecast, an audio piece bringing together experiences of illness and care; the Rewilding Healthcare newspaper, developed through creative workshops with people with lived and professional experience; and a Rewilding Healthcare comic presenting the project's findings in an accessible, story-based format.
Collectively, the outputs use arts-based approaches to encourage new conversations about risk, safety, choice, and relationships in healthcare systems.
