Rachel Bolton-King (CF 2019) was awarded UKRI funding as a named co-lead for Nottingham Trent University’s Policing Academic Centre of Excellence (P-ACE), with funding awarded for three years to support the integration of science and technology into UK policing.
Her contribution builds on research into firearm investigations developed through her Churchill Fellowship.
Leisa Nichols-Drew (CF 2018) has seen her rounded knife research adopted by the Kent and Medway Violence Reduction Unit. The research has also featured in a national media campaign, including Bauer Media’s Behind the Headlines podcast.
