Sonia also recently attended the Australian Fatherhood Research Symposium 2026 as part of her Fellowship, presenting a poster on the work of Lads Need Dads and its early intervention approaches supporting boys without consistent father involvement. The symposium brought together researchers and practitioners exploring fatherhood, boys’ wellbeing, attachment, and mental health.
