David Stanley’s (CF 2019) charity, The Music Man Project, won Best Charity Film at the Big Syn International Film Festival, the world’s largest sustainable film festival. The winning film showcased the organisation’s groundbreaking performance at the Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo in Canada, and David’s students also opened the festival’s Gala Ceremony at the Curzon Cinema in Soho.
He has also launched the International Alliance of Accessible Music, a new global network with ten founding members across the USA, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, including one of the organisations he visited during his 2019 Churchill Fellowship. Finally, The Royal Society of Arts will feature an exhibition of black-and-white photographs of Music Man Project students from 13–17 April.
