Maria Roberts (CF 2023) spoke at the National Suicide Prevention Alliance's conference in London.
Drawing on her Fellowship research, the session explored how to keep people safe when involving those with lived and living experience of suicide, including how to approach these conversations sensitively and provide appropriate support.
She also delivered an online session with Discovering Liveability at the University of Edinburgh, exploring how organisations can meaningfully involve people with lived and living experience and ensure their contributions influence decisions and practice.
Erica McInnis (CF 2016) developed and delivered a five-week Emotional First Aid: African Psychology in Action course in North Manchester, in partnership with NHS Manchester and the Rainbow Centre, and was featured by the British Psychological Society for Black History Monthh.
