Former journalist Robert Skinner (CF 1971) has had his Covid-19 diary published as a book entitled Pandemic! My Care Home Diary this month. Robert recorded his observations during the pandemic and how it changed life in the care home where he lives.
Strategy officer Laurelle Brown (CF 2018) has used her Covid-19 Action Fund grant to launch a free leadership course for Black safeguarding professionals this month. The aim of the course is to help encourage equitable career progression and increase diversity in the safeguarding workforce.

Homelessness campaigner Amy Varle (CF 2016) presented findings from her Covid-19 Action Fund project at Downing Street on 24 September. Amy’s project looked at digital solutions to ending and preventing homelessness and she has launched an impact-led social networking platform as a result.
