JOHN WARBURTON AND THE STATUE OF AGATHA CHRISTIE Download 'John Warburton Agatha Christie statue (2)'

John B Warburton BEM (CF 1989) shared this photo with us. The photograph shows John posing next to a bronze statue of crime writer Dame Agatha Christie which was unveiled in the Kine Croft park in Wallingford, Oxfordshire on 9 September. The statue, commissioned by the local council, is opposite Wallingford Museum which has a permanent Agatha Christie exhibit. Dame Agatha lived in Wallingford for many years and was President of the local Sinodun Players Drama Society for 25 years, from 1951 until her death in 1976. She regularly attended their plays and pantomimes. John is the current President of the Sinodun Players and his Fellowship focused on small theatre marketing.
