Biography
The purpose of my Fellowship, to Japan and Switzerland, was to study advancements in watchmaking. This was achieved, together with much, much more, and opened my eyes to the wider world.
I think that the main achievement of my Fellowship was in giving me motivation and the will to try new things in my business and personal life. I was very fortunate in being awarded a Fellowship. It has served me well and enabled me to serve others likewise.
I gained a lot from my Fellowship. I made friends and business contacts, which has helped me tremendously in my career. I am now semi-retired and spend a lot of my time working with memory cafés to aid people with dementia and their carers.
