Biography

I'm an investigative journalist working at BBC News and Current Affairs.

I'm passionate about telling the stories of unheard people and used my Fellowship to travel across the USA, researching the best ways to tell the stories of marginalised people and communities.

Upon my return to the UK I spent a year researching and producing Hope High, a seven-part podcast for the BBC investigating why schoolchildren were being groomed by county-lines drug dealers. Hope High was shortlisted for The Orwell Prize and nominated for Best True Crime Podcast by The British Podcast Awards.

My Fellowship gave me the opportunity to learn new skills and become an expert in my field. I am incredibly grateful to the Fellowship for their support.
