Biography

I am the Founder of Pathfinder Guide Dog Programme. Mobility for blind people and the care of the dogs is paramount to me. The Fellowship allowed me to look at and gain insight into many of the schools in Canada and the USA. This came about as I am totally blind and I discovered the need for good healthy dogs to help totally blind people. The charity has just taken on its fifteenth dog, and to date we have had no failures.

Many of the things I learnt on my trip I have used here in Scotland and it is paying off for the dogs and the clients. This is an experience and opportunity I would never have had without the Fellowship.
