Biography

When I was granted a Fellowship in 1971, I was working as Industrial Chaplain to the north-east Wales region, which was an ecumenical appointment. Meeting people and learning from the experiences of other lands was very valuable – as both stimulation and warning. My Fellow's Report, Participation, had a wide circulation.

In 1975 I was appointed Warden of Trefeca College with responsibility for laity education in the Presbyterian Church of Wales. Again, much of the work was also with other churches and secular groups.

I retired in 1992 but I continued with part-time extension tutoring with the Workers’ Educational Association and Bangor University. I also continued travelling. My wife and I spent three extended periods serving the Welsh communities and churches in Patagonia.
