Integration of the severe partially hearing into normal schools
Biography
After receiving my Fellowship in 1977 for the Integration of the Severe Partially Hearing into Normal Schools, I visited various schools, colleges and centres in the USA. I continued to teach the Deaf and Partially Hearing in a special unit in Cardiff.
In 1983, I transferred to another primary sector and became the head of a special unit in a Welsh medium primary school. I taught different age groups and children with very different special needs such as those who are Deaf, Partially Hearing or Partially Sighted, and children with conditions such as cerebral palsy, epilepsy, Prada-Willi syndrome, Down syndrome, autism etc. I continued in this unit until my retirement in 2008.
