I currently lead on responsible innovation and digital inclusion for Bristol City Council's City Innovation Team. I helped create Bristol City Council's first smart city strategy to advocate for responsible innovation as a foundation for the future of digital technology in the city.
My Fellowship explores how best to support innovation within city governments. I worked with city governments, federal governments and support organisations in the USA and Canada to explore inspiring practice in city innovation.
Receiving the Fellowship was a dream come true: an opportunity to combine my love of learning, travel and all things innovation. I built an international network and gained insights that have helped set the future direction of the City Innovation Team within Bristol City Council.
