I have a lot to thank the Fellowship for. Awarded to me decades ago, my Fellowship kick-started a career path in film-making. I recall that part of my Fellowship was concerned with filming interviews in the United States with those who were working in the field of body dysmorphia and/or were ill with anorexia. When I got back to the UK these interviews were used in teaching hospitals and also attracted the attention of TV channels to explore my work on the subject. Eventually I started making films on other subjects but it all started with being awarded a Fellowship.
