Biography
I am a professor of cell and cancer biology at the University of Cambridge. I undertook my Fellowship when I was a junior researcher in Mina Bissell's laboratory in San Francisco, where I learned how to culture breast cells in complex three-dimensional culture systems that I later used in my own laboratory.
My research benefited considerably from acquiring these skills, which I was then able to teach to others.
