Biography
I am retired. My Fellowship was about agricultural engineering and farm buildings. I visited north European countries from France to Norway. I collected information on building research and design, and associated advisory services. Special attention was given to the options for handling, using and disposing of farm 'wastes'.
The main output was a special large demonstration to the agricultural community at the Royal Agricultural Show in July 1968. This was credited as the template for many similar 'one topic' specialist shows since.
At the time I was employed at Stoneleigh as a technical assistant at the Farm Buildings Centre. I hold a BSc in rural estate management and was a chartered surveyor.
