I joined the Premier League after working as a consultant for them as an independent auditor of professional football clubs. I have 10 years' experience of working with professional football clubs across Europe.
I studied sport, health and physical education at Bangor University where I was Athletic Union President. I have worked in sports development and performance sport for 20 years at UK Athletics, the Youth Sport Trust, the British Olympic Association, and three professional football clubs.
Whilst completing my EdD, with the backing of a Churchill Fellowship upon the sustainable impact of school sport from hosting an Olympic Games, I continued my career at the English Institute of Sport as a performance lifestyle advisor and was part of the Team GB's staff for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. I was also a National Team Manager at the Rugby World Cup 2015. I sit on the FA's Disciplinary Board. My responsibilities are to audit the leadership and management – the role requires analysis to contextualise data to draw actionable insights to quality assure football clubs. I am also a director at my local parkrun.
