Biography

My Churchill Fellowship in 1989 enabled me to visit the USA to study the use of personal protective equipment in the construction industry. I then continued with my career as a health and safety professional in the construction industry.

My career took me to many locations around the world where I worked on a number of major construction projects. I had the good fortune to work on projects in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Sierra Leone and Australia.

I retired in 2017, and look back with fond memories of the people I had the opportunity to get to know during my Fellowship and on my subsequent career as a health and safety professional working on major construction projects around the world.
