Biography

I am retired from the UK Atomic Energy Authority. I was a founder member of the Corn Exchange theatre and cinema in Wallingford, where I have held key positions since its creation in 1975. I am currently the cinema and bookings manager and an Honorary Vice-President.

My Fellowship was to study arts marketing in one of the longest established and most competitive marketplaces. I learnt about effective marketing, promotion and advertising techniques which have been applied to our theatre and cinema.

I was awarded the British Empire Medal in the Queen's New Year Honours list in 2015 for services to the arts in Oxfordshire through the Corn Exchange Wallingford. I gained much from the Fellowship, not only learning new and more effective ways of doing things, but making some lifelong friendships across the pond.
