Biography
I am now retired but busy rearing Highland cattle, and acting as secretary of our community council and Director and Treasurer of Aigas Community Forest.
I looked at the marketing of seafood in North America for my Fellowship.
I was a fishmonger and board member of the National Federation of Fishmongers until retirement. The company was listed by the Good Food Guide as one of the best two fishmongers in the UK at the time.
I had various contacts with government in the fishing industry over the years and I have since worked with the Scottish Government in developing representation and financial support for the Scottish Clans. I also worked in gaining funds for the Aigas Community Forest, and have been on their board since its inception. Work with our community council has developed a relationship with many council departments, which is respected and envied by many others.
My experiences over the years with the Churchill Fellowship, Lions Clubs and my own company prepared me for a wide range of opportunities.
