Biography
I have ice skated all my life and I am now an ice-skating coach and choreographer.
I received my Fellowship to study skating with Cecilia Colledge, an Olympic gold medallist in the United States when I was aged 14. This gave me the opportunity to acquire new techniques, work on choreography and discover different training regimes that were proving successful in the United States. Following on from this I became British Primary champion, fifth in the British Championships and ninth in the World Professional Championships. I was also a principal skater in shows.
As a coach, all that I learnt on my Fellowship has helped me to have a greater technical knowledge and more diverse approach to coaching, which has benefited my pupils.
I am passionate about my sport and the Fellowship enriched my knowledge and love of skating.
