I am the founder and CEO of SBA CIC. We provide advice, guidance and support to individuals, micro-businesses and start-ups, as well as those businesses looking to grow. We also support individuals to develop new skills and take the next steps in their careers with training and personal development.

My Fellowship was focused on looking at publicly funded business support models that allow anyone, at any point, to be enterprising.

Getting the right enterprise and business assistance on any self-employment, business start-up or entrepreneurial journey is critical. Building a valued network and support system can be the difference between success and failure. Having taken the enterprise journey myself, I really value support and being given access to support at different points along my journey.

Since the Fellowship I have devised and instigated new programmes and training that has helped many more people take their next enterprise steps. I am currently embarking on a significant project to open a new centre of excellence in the Somerset Levels.

The Fellowship was life-changing for me and drives all of the activity I now do in my work. Thank you to the Fellowship.
