Biography
I am a retired police officer and Justice of the Peace.
I undertook my Fellowship in the early 1990s and my topic was domestic violence. This was at a time when the UK Government was just starting to tackle the issue. As a police officer, I was aware we were not providing an adequate service to the victims. Canada and the USA were further ahead in dealing with the issue, so I went to see what I could learn from them. I met some amazing professionals on that journey of discovery.
