Methods of reducing the costs of milk production
Biography
I retired after 22 years as Principal of Warwickshire College, was then head-hunted and spent nine years as Director of Equine Development for the British Equestrian Federation.
My Fellowship was undertaken in 1971 with tours to the United States, Canada and Iceland to study developments in dairy farming. Many of the ideas I brought back have either become standard practice or have been tried out and rejected or overtaken by newer developments.
The Fellowship has had a marked effect on my life, though the long absence from the family was hard.
