Biography
I am the Policy and Advocacy Manager (Wales) at Ramblers Cymru. My Fellowship focused on
government and third sector support for ageing and aimed to explore different approaches to supporting ageing populations and help share good and innovative practice.
Wales was about to have the world's first Older People's Commissioner and I wanted to explore how this, and Wales' third sector duties, could help shape the approaches to supporting older people.
The Fellowship helped me gain a position in the Older People's Commissioner's team as a policy officer, where I managed the Dignity in Care inquiry.
