Biography
It is over 50 years since my Fellowship and I'm now retired and living in the south-west of England.
The Fellowship title was Organisation and Conduct of Sport, and myself and another Olympic swimmer travelled to California to participate in ongoing swimming training both to improve our own performance and experience at first hand why US swimmers dominated the sport.
In the decades since that time I have spoken to many people and hope I have helped to clarify any misconceptions about US swimmers' success and also inform people regarding the Churchill Fellowship. The adventure continues to be one of my favourite memories.
